The Light Aircraft Association Rally took place at Sywell between 2nd and 4th September 2011.
Neither Elliott or I had been to one before so we didn’t know what to expect… and we’re glad to report we really enjoyed it. There was an impressive number of aircraft and – to our virgin eyes – an amazing array of designs. The atmosphere was welcoming and enthusiastic, and to cap it all, the weather was great too.
We took along our recording machines and came back with some great interviews, so listen to this and enjoy. If you were there you’ll recall how good it was, and if you weren’t you’ll get an idea of what you missed.
Thanks to everyone we spoke to and to the LAA for making us feel so welcome.
